The Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for maintaining existing relationships with all corporate partners in West Australian Ballet’s broad sponsor portfolio, rolling out all contractual benefits and responding in a highly professional and proactive manner to the individual needs of sponsors across industry sectors.
West Australian Ballet (WAB), the State flagship dance company for Western Australia, currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and highly efficient individual to join our Sponsorship team as a Sponsorship Coordinator.
Responsibilities include sponsor ticketing, planning and executing sponsor events, reporting, invoicing, communicating sponsor requirements internally and regular communication with sponsors at all levels. Under the guidance of the Sponsorship Manager, the position assists with building sponsorship revenue by researching potential sponsors and contributing to writing sponsorship proposals, in order to support an extensive program of classical and contemporary ballet in Perth, regional Australia and internationally.
It is incumbent of the Sponsorship Coordinator to demonstrate commitment to the mission of WAB “to enrich people’s lives through dance” and to be able to clearly articulate and work to achieve WAB’s sponsorship objectives, as part of the overall WAB Strategic Plan. Applicants should be suitably articulate and able to communicate and present themselves professionally at all times both internally and to our external corporate stakeholders.
The Sponsorship Coordinator is a Full Time position requiring additional out of hours work to fulfil the requirements of the role. The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $55,000 plus Super per annum dependent on experience and the role is available to commence immediately.
